ABOUT US
Singapore Thamizhar Eyakkam was established in 25 August, 1954. This Eyakkam will commemorate its 60th year in 2014. Grand celebrations on national day every year, visiting Elder’s homes, Blood donation, participating in other Tamil associations functions are important events/duties of the Eyakkam.
“Anna Illam”, a three storey building, was started to build in 1996 and the opening ceremony was held on 25th July 1998. This building was constructed with the effort of our Ex. General Secretary and Ex. Adviser, Mr R Velayutham, and the support of General Council Members during the period of 1996-1998.
Singapore Thamizhar Eyakkam celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2015.
